.4 Setting the mixing head
Observe the notes on maintenance and servicing (see Ch. 8.1).
The distance S1 between the diffuser and the flame tube’s front edge cannot be mea-
sured with the burner mounted. This is only possible with the mixing head removed,
with the help of the dimension Lx.
Dimension Lx changes according to the combustion head extension used.
u Remove the mixing head (see Ch. 8.3).
u Turn the setting screw 1 until the indicating bolt 5 is flush with the nozzle assembly
cover (dimension X = 0 mm).
u Check dimension Lx.
If the measured value deviates from dimension Lx:
u Loosen screws 2.
u Adjust flame tube 3 until dimension Lx has been reached.
u Re-tighten screws 2.
If the screws 2 have been loosened:
u Check the position of the electrodes and gas orifices 4.
