To Review or Edit the User List
1. Press the Menu key .
2. Choose System Settings > Device Administration.
If prompted to log in, enter an administrator-level user ID and password.
3. Choose User List.
The user list appears.
4. Press the desired softkeys.
Note
If no administrator-level password has been assigned, the system’s default
user ID and password — available from Welch Allyn — works here.
These defaults exist solely to provide access to the user list in the event that
user login is enabled before an administrator is assigned.
Softkey Effect
Add Lets you add new users. For each user, provide the following information:
• User ID (1 to 10 characters)
• Password (5 to 10 characters, displayed as asterisks for security)
• Password Expiration
- Never
- 180 days
•User’s Name
• User Level
- User
- Administrator
• Active?
- Yes (user cannot be replaced)
- No (user can be replaced when list is full)
Edit Lets you edit the information for the highlighted user.
Exit Returns to the Device Administration screen.
