2.1 Construction
The UniTrans consists of a pressure sensor, a control interface unit and a housin

cover with optional displa

2.1.1 Pressure Transducer
The pressure transducer has a piezo-resistive or thinfilm measurement cell depend-
in
g
on the pressure ran
g
e. The sensors are temperature compensated, and have a
hermeticall
y
welded membrane which is "helium" leak-tested. The pressure trans-
ducers do not have internal sealin
g
elements.
Pressure transducers further distin

uish themselves from one another based on their
pressure ran

es and the different materials of wetted parts. Different process
connections can be selected to serve a wide ran
g
e of applications.
Never exceed the overpressure limit of the respective pressure transducer.
