NOTICE
Effective up to 300m above sea level. For higher
altitudes +0.01bar/100m.
In case of higher fluid temperatures, fluids of lower
density, higher flow resistances or lower atmospheric
pressure, adjust the values accordingly.
The maximum installation height is 2000metres
above MSL.
3 Safety
3.1 Intended use
Use
Circulation of liquid in the following application landscapes:
Hot-water heating systems
Cooling and cold water circulation systems
Closed industrial circulation systems
Solar installations
Geothermal systems
Air-conditioning systems
The pumps do not fulfil the requirements of the ATEX directive and
are not suitable for pumping explosive or easily flammable fluids!
Intended use includes compliance with these instructions as well as
the information and markings on the pump.
Any use beyond the intended use is considered misuse and will void
any warranty claims.
Permitted fluids
Heating pumps:
Heating water in accordance with VDI 2035 Part 1 and Part 2
Demineralized water in accordance with VDI 2035-2, “Water qual-
ity” section
Water/glycol mixtures, max. mixing ratio of 1:1.
The delivery rate of the pump is compromised by the admixture of
glycol due to the changed viscosity. This should be taken into ac-
count when setting the pump.
Ethylene/propylene glycol with corrosion inhibitors.
No oxygen binding agents, no chemical sealants (ensure system is
closed in terms of corrosion in accordance with VDI 2035); fix leaky
spots.
Commercially available corrosion protection agents

rosive anodic inhibitors (underdosing due to consumption!).
Commercially available combination products
1)
without inorganic or
polymer film formers.
Commercially available cooling brines

WARNING
Personal injury and material damage caused
by impermissible fluids!
Impermissible fluids can damage the pump and also
cause personal injury.
