8.2.3 Error E2 (no cartridge)
Error E2 signals that no cartridge is screwed onto the lubricator.

Description:
• The lubricator’s sensor pin detects whether a cartridge is screwed onto the lubricator.
The amount of lubrication in the cartridge is not detected.
• Error E2 interrupts running dosing sequences and prevents further control signals.
• Error E2 is displayed until a cartridge is screwed on; the error need not be acknowledged.
NOTE
An opened cartridge may not be screwed on again. Only full cartridges may be
installed because the counter is reset by removing a cartridge
8.2.4 Transition of error E1 to E2
The following diagram shows the signal curve when replacing a cartridge.

Z1: Removal of the empty cartridge
Z2: Installing the new cartridge
Description:
• Error E1 occurred after a dosing sequence; the lubricator transmits the empty signal (E1).
• Z1 marks the removal of the empty cartridge; the lubricator transmits the signal for
error E2 (no cartridge).
• Z2 marks the installation of a new cartridge.
• If a running dosing sequence is interrupted by the error E1, it will be resumed after installing
the new cartridge.
