Problem Possible Cause Solution
Battery charging current islower than the
charging set point during bulk charge mode.
Ambient (environment) temperature is
high.
Do not be alarmed, the unit isperforming normally. The charging
current automaticallyde-rates at high ambient temperature.
Improve ventilation. Make sure the unit’s ventilation openings are
not blocked.
Alarm doesnot sound when an error is
encountered.
Alarm isturned OFF. Press and hold the Select button for two seconds to disable (or
enable) the audible alarm. See Turning the Audible Alarm ON or
OFF on page 33.
Low output voltage
(96 volts AC–104 volts AC) during Inverter
mode.
You are using a voltmeter that cannot
accurately read the RMS voltage of a
modified sine wave.
Use a true RMS reading voltmeter such as the Fluke 87.
