2. Remove the jammed page from the back of the scanner.
3. Close the scanner by gently lowering the lid to the scanner body until
it is securely locked in place. Do not slam down the exit door.
To reduce the number of paper jams, smooth and straighten the paper
before scanning and the paper guides to the paper size.
