TWAIN Scanner Program
The WorkCentre PE16 TWAIN Scanner program is used to scan
images, graphics, photographs, and printed text. Documents
can be fed from the Automatic Document Feeder(ADF) or placed
on the Document Glass.
There are two methods for scanning images from a PC, both of
which require the installation of a scanner program. A simple
TWAIN Scanner program is provided on the software CD
provided with themachine. For installation instructions, please
refer to “Installing Software” on page 2.4.. The TWAIN Scanner
settings are fully described in the TWAIN Driver Help program.
An alternative method for color scanning is to use PaperPort.
PaperPort is an advanced software program that is provided with
the WorkCentre PE16. This software allows users to convert
scanned graphics and images into various “usable” formats.
