4.8 Check the impeller rotation
CAUTION: Crush Hazard
The starting jerk can be powerful. Make sure nobody is close to the unit when it is started.
If the propeller rotates in the wrong direction, then the pump lifts up and rotates, which can
damage the cables.
1. Start the motor.
2. Stop the motor after a few seconds.
3. Check the propeller rotation.
The correct direction of propeller rotation is clockwise when you look at the pump from
above.
