3 Mechanical Installation
3.1 Precautions
Before starting work, make sure that the safety instructions in the chapter
Introduction and Safety on page 3 have been read and understood.
3.2 Prepare for an open engine unit
1. Drill a 6.35 mm (0.25 in) diameter hole at a distance of 127 mm (5 in) from
the lifting bail plate.
2. Drill one more 6.35 mm (0.25 in) diameter hole at a distance of
57.15 mm (2.25 in) from the first hole.

3.3 Prepare for an enclosed engine unit
1. Drill two 6.35 mm (0.25 in) diameter holes as high as possible on the
enclosure.
