5 System Setup
Introduction
The following configurations are done on the PrimeGaurd 2 control panel.
For the PV102P configuration parameters, refer to PV102P control panel
documentation.
5.1 Set the communication parameters
1. Go to MAIN PARAMETERS > COMMUNICATION PARAMETERS.
2. Set the communication parameters:

MODBUS SERVER ADDRESS 247
RS485 SERVER BAUD RATE 38400
PROTOCOL SELECTION Modbus
5.2 Set the miscellaneous parameters
1. Go to MAIN PARAMETERS > MISCELLANEOUS PARAMETERS.
2. Set the miscellaneous parameters:
Parameter Setting
Mechanical Engines None
Electronic Engine J1939 PrimeGuard HRS or J1939 ECU Engine HRS
5.3 Set the digital input parameter
1. Go to MAIN PARAMETERS > DIGITAL INPUT PARAMETERS.
2. Set the digital input parameter:
Control panel Parameter Setting
PrimeGuard 2 DIGITAL INPUT 1 Remote call to run
PV102P DIGITAL INPUT 4 Remote call to run
This parameter is used to start and stop the pump remotely.
5.4 Set the analog input parameters
1. Go to MAIN PARAMETERS > ANALOG INPUT PARAMETERS.
2. Set the following analog input parameters.
These parameters are used for optional devices that are pressure
transducers and flowmeters.
