INSTALLING THE MUFFLER
1. Install:
•Gasket
• Muffler assembly
• Muffler nut “1”
• Muffler nut “2”
• Muffler bolt “3”
TIP
Temporarily tighten muffler nut “1”, muffler nut “2” and muf-
fler bolt “3”.
2. Tighten:
• Muffler nut “1”
• Muffler nut “2”
• Muffler bolt “3”
TIP
Tighten the nuts and bolt to the specified torque in order of
muffler nut “1”, muffler nut “2”, and muffler bolt “3”.

Muffler nut:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13 lb·ft)
Muffler bolt:
8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.9 lb·ft)
