Steering Friction Kit
9. Connect the following:
1 Main Switch Wire Lead Coupler
2 Extension Wire Harness Coupler
3 Oil Level Gauge Lead Coupler
4 Trim Sender Lead Coupler
5 Power Trim/Tilt Switch Lead Coupler
6 Zip Tie
7 Clamp ( I llus. D )
NOTE:
a. Fit the extension wire harness and main
switch wire leads.
b. Clamp the wire leads as shown.
Steering Friction
1. Remove the end cap 1.
2. Install the bolt 1 and wing nut 2.
3. Install the friction controller 3, link rod 4,
washer 5, and the nylon nut 6.
NOTE:The steering friction can be installed on
the port side or starboard side.
