SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Before servicing the electrical components, review the Safety Section on page 2-1.
INTRODUCTION
This section of the Service Manual describes the operation of and procedures to test and replace the
components of the electrical system and engine control unit (ECU) as used on the Yanmar 4BY2 and 6BY2
marine engines.
