Using YOMANI
This chapter covers:
• daily checks
• reading cards
• using a printer
• resetting YOMANI
Security recommendations
For security reasons, you are advised to check your YOMANI every working day. Make
sure that:
• there is no sign of unusual cables connected anywhere on the terminal
• there is no foreign object in either of the card-readers
• the keypad is firmly in place
• the terminal is not displaying any warning message
• the housing is not visibly damaged
• the terminal serial number (on the label) corresponds to the inventory
Reading cards
With the YOMANI, you can read chip cards, magstripe cards and (optionally) contactless
cards.
Chip cards
Insert the chip card in the chip-card reader with the chip facing the customer.
