Generator operation
The variable speed drive (VSD) can operate on a generator, provided that the generator's output
voltage can be maintained within the voltage specifications for the drive. When switching from
utility power to generator power, allow a minimum of a 10 s delay. This same delay is required
when switching power back from generator power to utility power, unless using a synchronized
transfer system.
