Consumer Protection Plan for Zenith TV

pleased with your new Zenith Color TV. Please read this
Consumer Protection Plan carefulh,. It is a "LIMITED
WARRANTY" as defined under Federal Law. This warran-
ty gives you specific legal rights, and you may aiso have
other ri_hts that vary from state to state within the U.S.A.
Zenith's Responsibility
Service Labor - During a period of 90 days from effective
warranty date. Zenith wili pay' for service labor by a L'.S. or
Canadian ,:ii:_tributor-approvcd Zenith service center when
needed as a result of manufacturing defects.
Parts - New or remanufacturcd replacements for factory-
defective peais x_iIlbc supplied by"a U.S. or Canadian
distributor-approved service center for one year from effective
warranty _ta_c(color picture tube - two years). Such replace-
ment parts arc we.framed for the remaining portion of the
ori_nal warranty period.
Home Service - \Varrantv scrvicc for 19"diagonal
(U.S.A.) o; h',rg..:r screen size models is provided in the
homE.
Not Cmered - This warranty covers manufacturing defects
and dovesno', cover instaIlation, adjustment of customer con-
trois in the home. installation or repair of home antenna sys-
tems. cable converters or cable company-supplied
equipmen:: it uiso does not cover damage due to misuse,
abuse, ne'.:!i,_,encc, acts of God or other causes beyond the
control o1 Zenith. Any alteration of the product after
manufacture voids this warranty in its entirety.

Effective Warranty Date - \Varranty begins on th e date o:
original consumer installation. For vour convenience, kccp
the dealers dated bill of sale ,3rdelivery ticket as evidence
of the purchase date.
Operating Guide - Read vc,ur Operating Guide carefully
so that you will understanct the operation of your set and
how to adjust the customer controls.
Caro'-In Sen'ice - Models under 19" diagonal (U.S.A.)
screen size must be taken to a distributor-approved Zenith
service center for warranty s.ervice and must be picked up
bv the owner.
._mtenna -- Reception problems caused by inadequate
home antennas or faulty amcnna connections arc the
o_:ner's responsibility.
Important: Product Registration - Please fill out and mail
}'our Product Registration Card. It is imperative that Zenith
know how to reach you promptly if we should discover a
safety problem that could affect you.
Warranty Service - For _arranty sen'ice information, con-
tact }'our Zenith dealer preferably, or any distributor-
approved Zenith service center. Parts and service labor that
arc Zcnith's responsibility (sec above) will bc provided
without charge. Other service is at the owner's expense. If
