Battery Replacement
Required Tools and Other Items
• Torque driver
• #2 Phillips-head bit
• Vibra-Tite
Instructions
Step Action
1 Unscrew the four 6-32 x 5/16 screws and then remove the battery compartment.
Save these screws.
2 Remove the old battery by unscrewing the four 6-32 x 2 1/4 screws, and then
disconnect the plug from its connector.
Save these screws.
3 Connect the new battery by attaching its cable to the battery connector (pull lightly on
cable to ensure it is locked in place and avoid kinking the cable).
Clean screws and apply Vibra-Tite to each screw, re-insert, then tighten the
four 6-32 x 2 1/4 screws to secure the battery.
Torque: 9 in lbs
Bit Size: #2 Phillips
4 Perform a functional test to confirm proper operation of the aspirator.
