Recording/playback trouble

• Conrm that the REC LED is lit ( “Names of parts” on page 13).
• Check the remaining recordable time on the Home Screen ( “Home Screen (in recording standby)” on page 26).
• Conrm that a microSD card is loaded properly in the card slot ( “Inserting microSD cards” on page 20).
• If the HOLD function is on, button operations will be disabled. Disable the HOLD function ( “Preventing misop-
eration (HOLD function)” on page 23).

Recorded sound does not play back properly
If the orientation of the mic during recording is different from the Mic Position setting, proper playback of the dif-
ferent direction signals will not be possible.
• Use the orientation of the mic during recording that matches the Mic Position setting ( “Setting the mic posi-
