11.4 IP Alias Screen
IP alias allows you to partition a physical network into different logical networks over the same
Ethernet interface. The WAP6806 supports three logical LAN interfaces via its single physical
Ethernet interface with the WAP6806 itself as the gateway for each LAN network.
Use this screen to have the WAP6806 apply IP alias to create LAN subnets. Click Configuration >
Network > Ethernet > IP Alias.

Get from DHCP
Server
Select this to have the WAP6806 get a dynamic IP address from a DHCP server.
Use Static IP
Address
Click this to enable the manual IP configuration.
IP Address Enter the IP address of your WAP6806 in dotted decimal notation.
Subnet Mask Enter the subnet mask of your WAP6806 in dotted decimal notation.
Default Gateway Enter the gateway of your WAP6806 in dotted decimal notation.
Confirm Click Confirm to save your changes.
Reset Click Reset to reload the previous configuration for this screen.

IP Address Enter the IP alias address of your WAP6806 in dotted decimal notation.
Subnet Mask Enter the subnet mask of the IP alias in dotted decimal notation.
Confirm Click Confirm to save your changes.
Reset Click Reset to reload the previous configuration for this screen.
