3.2.1 Express Settings
The steps below describe how to set a new device quickly for announcing 2N
®
SIP Mic
to a multicast zone via a microphone. This is what you need for operation:

microphone
supply adapter
UTP cable with PoE for LAN connection
Use a PC connected to the same network as to configure the basic 2N
®
SIP Mic
parameters.
Step 1: Connection
Pack out and connect the microphone and supply adapter included in the 2N
®
SIP Mic
delivery. Insert a power cable connected to your LAN into the LAN connector on the
back.
How to find the IP address:2N
®
SIP Mic
Turn on the device switch.
Wait until you can hear the sound signal .
Press the call hang-up button on the device five times.
reads its IP address. 2N
®
SIP Mic
If the address is 0.0.0.0, it means that did not get its IP address 2N
®
SIP Mic
from the DHCP server. In that case contact your network administrator.
