Configuring MAC
Based ACLs
The MAC Based ACL Setup Page allows the network administrator to
select, create, and define rules for MAC-based Access Control Lists.
Monitor users have no access to this page.
1 Click Device > ACL > MAC Based ACL > Setup. The MAC Based
ACL Setup Page opens.

The MAC Based ACL Setup Page contains the following fields:
Selection ACL — Lists previously defined Access Control Lists.
Create ACL — Create a new user-defined MAC based ACL.
Add Rules to ACL
Priority — Indicates the ACE priority, which determines which
ACE is matched to a packet on a first-match basis. The possible
field values are 1-65535.
Source MAC Address — Matches the source MAC address to
which packets are addressed to the ACE.
