be influenced by the position of the
sensors, e.g. by changing the set-
up of the car (due to wear of shock
absorbers or suspensions), replacing
the tyres with others of different sizes,
travelling with a laden car, installing
specific set-ups to lower the car;
the presence of adhesives on the
sensors. Therefore, take care not to
place stickers on the sensors.

SENSORS
The parking sensors, located in the
front bumper fig. 134 e fig. 135 (one
per side) and rear bumper fig. 136,
detect the presence of any obstacles
and warn the driver through an
acoustic warning and, where provided,
visual warnings on the instrument panel
display.

activation/deactivation

To deactivate the system, press button
(A) fig. 137 located on the left side
of the dashboard (left-hand drive
versions).
The change from active system to
deactivated and vice versa is always
indicated by an appropriate message
on the instrument panel display.
The LED on the button indicates the
system on or off status:
The LED is off when the system is
active;
The LED is on when the system was
manually deactivated by the user or in a
fault or temporary disable condition.
If the off button is pressed with the
system faulty, the LED flashes for about
5 seconds, then it stays off.
