5.4 Stopping the engine
CAUTION
Stopping the engine
In the turbocharger, the heat from the lubricating oil that continues to circu-
late must be dissipated.
 Let the engine continue to run at idling speed for 10 minutes before stop-
ping it.
 Post-lubrication can be used instead of engine idling (Pre-lubrication and
post-lubrication [➙ 19]).
