Refitting, link
Use this procedure to refit the link of the linkage.

All lifting accessories used must be sized
accordingly!

Secure the link with a roundsling in an
overhead crane and lift it to the mounting
position.

Art.no. is specified in Required equipment
on page 210
Fit the auxiliary shaft on the shaft.3
Sealing compound: 3HAC073510-001
(Trans7).
Apply sealing compound on the support
ring.

Replace the radial seal if needed!Fit the support ring, with the radial seal fit-
ted, on the shaft.

Lubricate and place the bearings and link
on the shaft, in the following order:
• bearing
• link
• bearing

Apply the pressing tool and secure the link.7
Loctite 243Apply locking liquid on the lock nut.8
Secure the lock nut in these three steps:
1 Tighten with a torque of 300 Nm.
2 Unscrew the lock nut.
3 Tighten the lock nut finally with a
tightening torque of 90 Nm.
Note
The recommended order of tightening the
lock nut is important to follow to avoid future
problems with the shaft.
