The Terxon PSTN dialer is able to record an identification message
and four voice messages, all with a maximum length of 25 seconds.
IMPORTANT
The identification message 0 is normally used to show general
information on the alarm system. The remaining four voice texts A-D
are allocated to the corresponding alarm inputs (A-D) and normally
show the relevant event (e.g. burglary, fire etc.). We recommend
adding a note that clarifies the confirmation procedure (press 8) at the
end of the voice message.
1. Enter your programming code (default: 1234). The following
message is shown in the display:
READY
Press
. The display shows the following:
ENT 0-D
Select the message that you wish to edit (0-D). The display then
alternates (the example here relates to alarm message A):
RECORD
PHRASE A
Press
to start recording. Speak loud and clear into the
microphone. The display shows the amount of seconds remaining.
REC - 24
Press
to stop recording.
Repeat steps 3-5 for the remaining messages.
