15.2 Technical standards on electromagnetic emissions
The standard concerning electromagnetic compatibility of medical
equipment (IEC 60601-1-2) requires the concrete specification of the cor-
responding levels which refer to specified electromagnetic interferences.

RF emissions Group 1 The Accu-Chek Spirit uses RF energy only for its
CISPR 11 internal function. Therefore, its RF emissions are
very low and are not likely to cause any interfer-
ence in nearby electronic equipment.
RF emissions Class B The Accu-Chek Spirit is suitable for use in all
CISPR 11 establishments, including domestic establish-
ments and those directly connected to the public
low-voltage power supply network that supplies
buildings used for domestic purposes.
