4. Lift up the upper case by starting from the top edge of the upper case. Refer to
Figure 3-20.
5. Release the tabs on the bottom edge of the upper case.
6. Grasp and remove the upper case from the system.

Upper Case Installation 0
1. Place the upper case on the base assembly and align it properly to the edge of the
system. Refer to Figure 3-20.
2. Install and secure two (2) screws (C) to the upper case (Figure 3-19).
3. Connect touchpad FPC (A) to mainboard connector (B). Refer to Figure 3-19.
4. Install and secure eighteen (18) screws to the base assembly. Refer to Figure 3-18.
5. Install Keyboard and Base Door.
