Disinfecting the PSPIX
system
Remove the removable parts
from the PSPIX system (IP
insertion part and receptacle)
and disinfect them separately.
-Disinfect the PSPIX body with
a cloth dipped in a disinfectant
solution.
All surfaces must be dry
before using the PSPIX
system.
-Never use disinfectants
that contain abrasive or
corrosive substances, or
that contain solvents.
-Never spray the
disinfectant directly
onto the PSPIX system.
-Do not introduce
disinfectant in the PSPIX
system’s insertion slot.
Never use a wet cloth on
the black part under the
IP’s insertion slot.

To disinfect the removable
parts, use
-a cloth dipped in a disinfectant
solution.
-or washer disinfector. The
following logo
on the
back of the removable parts
indicates that they are thIPo-
disinfectable.
Program your washer disinfector
so that the thermal disinfection
takes place at 93 °C for fi ve
minutes.
-Ensure that the parts are
completely dry and are
at ambient temperature
before putting them back
into the PSPIX system and
using them.
-Never use disinfectants
that contain abrasive or
corrosive substances, or
that contain solvents.
-When using a washer
disinfector, do not
exceed a period of fi ve
minutes when thermal
disinfection takes place
at 93 °C.
