OPTIONAL: Autoclave
disinfection of
removable parts
(IP insertion part and
receptacle)
-Ensure that the removable
parts supplied with your PSPIX
system are autoclave-proof, as
they are sold as options.
Turn them over and check that
the following logos are present:
-Clean and disinfect the
removable parts according to
the procedures set out above.
-Condition the removable parts
and place them in the autoclave.
- For pre-vacuum steam sterilizer
the following parameters have
been validated: 132°C (270°F)
for 4 minutes, 20 minutes dry
time.
-For Gravity-displacement
steam sterilizer the following
parmeters have been validated:
121° C (250°F) 30 minutes, 30
minutes dry times.
-Ensure that the parts are
completely dry and are
at ambient temperature
before putting them back
into the PSPIX system and
using them.
-Never autoclave items
above 134 °C.
NOTE:
The disinfection techniques used both for the PSPIX system and the dental practice must comply with all
national and local legislation in force.
CAUTION:
Risk of deterioration of the PSPIX system. No liquid must enter into the equipment. The PSPIX system
must therefore never be sprayed with any disinfectant or cleaning solution.
