• Close temple rest on the patient forehead and, gently move patients head to the correct position with his mid-sagittal plane
corresponding to the mid-sagittal LASER.
• Move slightly up or down the equipment until Frankfurt laser is centered on Frankfurt plane of the patient. This laser is
composed by ve lines. Refer to one of these lines to position the patient. Be sure that this line (and consequently patient’s
Frankfurt plane) is horizontal and parallel to the oor.
• If it is necessary, adjust the machine in order to centre the canine laser plane on the patient canine for PAN and SINUS exams
and on temporo-mandibular jont for TMJ exams. Move the U-arm by pressing the dedicated keys to adjust the anterior or
posterior directions.
