Chapter 1 Production Introduction
Note! Orient the heatsink and fan assembly such that the CPU fan cable is
closest to the CPU fan connector.
2. Connect the CPU fan cable to the connector on the motherboard labelled
CPUFAN1.
Caution!
Do not forget to connect the fan cables to the fan connectors. Insuf-
ficient air flow inside the system may damage the motherboard
components, and hardware monitoring errors can occur if you fail
to plug this connector.
These are not jumpers! DO NOT place jumper caps on the fan con-
nectors.
