3 Troubleshooting and Test Functions
Compensation Sensor Open
The ambient-compensation sensor (NTC) on the MTP board in the sampler has
failed (open circuit).
The resistance across the temperature compensation sensor (NTC) on the MTP
board is dependent on ambient temperature. The change in resistance is used
by the leak circuit to compensate for ambient temperature changes. If the
resistance across the sensor increases above the upper limit, the error
message is generated.
Probable Causes
• Defective MTP board.
Suggested Actions
✔ Exchange the MTP board.
