Shutting off the Engine
Move the speed control lever to idling
position and let the engine run idle for about
half a minute.
Flick the engine shut-off switch to posi-
tion ”0”.
Close the fuel tap

Do not move the choke lever to
CHOKE position to shut off the
engine – danger of fire!

The speed control lever is also
the safety circuit lever. If necessary,
move this lever to position ”STOP” to shut off
the engine.

To down the machine for a long
period of time, do not press the
engine shut-off-switch to stop the engine. In-
stead, close the fuel tap and operate the en-
gine until it comes to a stop by lack of fuel.
This is to ensure the carburetor is empty and
to avoid resin deposits.

Secure the machine against un-
authorised use. Remove the spark
plug connector.
