8.2 Maintenance work
8.2.1 Checking the engine oil
level
See Engine Operating Instructions.
8.2.2 Checking the oil level
in the axles
Rear axle
(1) Unscrew the plug from the axle
arch (8-1/arrow).
NOTE
- The axle arch and auxiliary gear-
box share the same oil. Therefore,
it is not necessary to check the oil
level for the auxiliary gearbox.
- The oil level must reach the plug
bore.
- If oil comes out, collect it or, if
necessary refill oil.
(2) Replace the plug and fit a new
gasket.
Planetary gear
(1) Turn wheel until the marking
line “OELSTAND/OIL LEVEL” at the
left hand side is horizontal and the
plug hole is above this marking line
(8-2/arrow).
(2) Unscrew the plug.
NOTE
- The oil level must reach the plug
bore.
- If oil comes out, collect it or, if
necessary refill oil.
(3) Re-screw the plug with new
gasket.

Motor

8.2.2 Kontroll av oljenivån
Axlar
Bakaxel
(1) Skruva ut pluggarna ur axel-
bryggan (8-1/pil).
ANMÄRKNING
- Axelbryggan och fördelarväxellå-
dan har gemensam oljeförbru-
kning. Därför behöver man inte
kontrollera oljenivån hos fördelar-
växellådan.
- Oljenivån måste nå upp till hålen
för pluggarna.
- Torka upp den olja som ev rinner
ut.
(2) Skruva in pluggarna igen med
nya tätningsringar.
Planetväxel
(1) Vrid hjulet så att markeringen
OELSTAND/OILLEVEL på den
vänstra sidan står vågrätt och hålet
till pluggen befinner sig över denna
markeringslinje (8-2/pil).
(2) Skruva ut pluggarna.
ANMÄRKNING
- Oljenivån måste nå upp till hålen
för pluggarna.
- Torka upp den olja som ev rinner
ut.
(3) Skruva in pluggarna igen med
nya tätningsringar.
