The design of the individual appliance models may
vary.
The appliance is equipped with display shelves.

The bottom display shelf must be at the lowest posi-
tion.

The appliance is equipped with casters for easy move-
ment back and forth.
The waste heat generated in the appliance is trans-
ferred to the ambient air via a heat exchanger.
4.1 Automatic defrosting
The appliance features automatic defrosting.
The frequency, duration and time of defrosting are pre-
set.
Defrost time
Up to 60 minutes
During automatic defrosting, the following display
screen and symbols appear on the display (see →
Page31,Chapter 5).

The water produced on defrosting is routed from the
interior of the unit into heated condensation water
trays where it evaporates.
CAUTION
Leakage of condensation water.
Slipping hazard.
Check for puddles in front of and under the
appliance.
Promptly remove leaking condensation wa-
ter.
Contact the maintenance service immedi-
ately (see →Maintenance services).
During defrosting, a minor temperature increase may
occur.
If required, semi-automatic defrosting can be used
(see →Semi-automatic defrost).
4.2 Appliance lighting function
The function of the appliance lighting is coupled with
the night blind. It is controlled using a magnetic switch
(not visible). The night blind can be closed and
opened mechanically (see → Page32,Chapter 5.8).
Day mode function
Night blind open.
Appliance lighting is automatically on.
Night mode function
Night blind closed.
Appliance lighting is automatically off.
A control element is available to switch the appliance
lighting on and off.

5 Control and display

5.1 Temperature display
The temperature of the appliance is set at the factory
to ensure compliance with the M-package temperature
class specified by the manufacturer (see →Technical
data).

5.2 DIXELL electronic controller
The controller is located at the front.
