characters long composed of printable, 7-bit ASCII characters. If the string contains special
characters (#, $, spaces, etc.), the entire string must be enclosed within double quotes.

Syntax [no] shutdown
Context config>system>security>management-access-filter>ip-filter
config>system>security>management-access-filter>ipv6-filter
config>system>security>cpm-filter>ip-filter
config>system>security>cpm-filter>ipv6-filter
config>system>security>radius
config>system>security>tacplus
Description This command administratively disables the entity. The operational state of the entity is disabled as
well as the operational state of any entities contained within. When disabled, an entity does not change,
reset, or remove any configuration settings or statistics, other than the administrative state. Many
objects must be shut down before they can be deleted.
The no form of the command puts an entity into the administratively enabled state. Many entities must
be explicitly enabled using the no shutdown command.
Default no shutdown
