OmniSwitch BPS Configurations
The OmniSwitch BPS can be used to provide redundancy to the OmniSwitch 6850E in multiple
configurations as described below:
Supported Configurations
• Single stack (from 1 to 8 switches)
• 1 to 8 non-stacked switches
• Two stacks of switches (up to 4 switches each)
Unsupported Configurations
• Partial stack (only NIs are connected to OmniSwtich BPS, but not the CMM)
• A mix of stacked and unstacked switches
