8.15.3 Adjusting the working depth of the harrow tines
1. Raise the implement until the harrow tines are directly above the ground, but not touching it.
2. Switch off the tractor PTO shaft, apply the tractor parking brake, switch off the tractor engine, and
remove the ignition key.
3. Set the working depth of the harrow tines by positioning the safety pin for the tube/pin (see
variation 1 and variation 2)
in all segments
in the same hole.
Version 1
Ensure that the safety pin for the tube (Fig.
302/1) is positioned above the link (Fig. 302/2) in
the adjuster segment.

The lower the safety pin for the tube (Fig.
302/1) is inserted in the adjusting segment, the
greater the working depth.
Version 2
When inserting the pin (Fig. 303/1), hold onto the
harrow tine beam by the carrier handle (Fig.
303/2).

The deeper the pin (Fig. 303/1) is inserted in
the adjuster segment, the greater the work
depth.
After each repositioning, secure the pin with a
linch pin.
