12.7.12 Checking / replacing the TwinTeC+ seed catcher
Adhere to the inspection intervals,
see section "Maintenance schedule", page 298.
1. Check the seed catcher (Fig. 488/1) for
wear.
2. Replace worn seed catchers.
2.1 Dismount the seed line, see section
"Dismounting the TwinTeC+ seed line“,
page 326.

If the seed catcher sticks, picks up
crop residues or drags the seed, you
can remove the seed catcher (Fig.
490/1) or replace with the guide ex-
tension.
Order the guide extension (Fig.
490/1) and the socket (Fig. 490/2)
via spare parts and fix with the exist-
ing hexagon nut (Fig. 490/3).
