4.2 Using the Lens Mount Adaptors
The Zyla has a T-mount thread as standard. There are 3 standard lens mount adaptors available that can be
speciedatthetimeofordering,enablingtheZylatosuitstandardmountingoptions.Theseareasfollows:
C-mount
CS-mount
F-mount
The Zyla is supplied with the selected lens mount adaptor locked into a nominal position of 1 mm from the
top surface of the Zyla faceplate (see Figure 37). Adaptors can be removed, inserted and adjusted (for focus
optimization)asrequired.

4.2.1 C-mount Adaptor
The C-mount adaptor can be adjusted as follows:
1. Loosen the 2 locking screws located in the front face of the adaptor if required using supplied 1.5
mm Allen key.

2. Manually screw the C-mount into position until the desired focus is achieved. It must not be
screwed the entire way into the faceplate.
3. Lock the C-mount into position using the 2 locking screws and 1.5 mm Allen key. NOTE: Maximum
torque applied must not exceed: 0.6 Nm
