4.3.1 The attitude of the boiler during 3-way valve switching.
4.3.2 3-way valve motor
The movement of the 3-way valve is assured by an ELBI l electric motor that is easy to disassemble.
The boiler does not have to be emptied in order to replace is but you just have to take out the clip (2) and
disconnect the supply wire.
The PCB supply always reaches the electric motor according to the function selected (mixed or just sanitary)
on the control panel.
It has two (right and left) micro-switches inside the body that disconnect voltage to the electric engine when
the position has been switched.

WHEN TURNED ON HEATING:
operating cycle on “heating” mode is
delayed for 7 seconds (time required by
the shaft to switch from “sanitary” to
“heating”).
AT A DOMESTIC HOT WATER
DEMAND:
it will be immediately start working on the
“sanitary” mode
AT A DOMESTIC HOT WATER
DEMAND:
the position changes from “heating” to
“sanitary “ while the pump and the burner
are still working.
AFTER A DEMAND FOR
DOMESTIC HOT WATER:
if heating is still requested, the pump and
burner will be stopped for 7 seconds (time
required by the shaft to switch from
“sanitary” to “heating” position. “Heating”
mode operation will begin from the start.
