Why aren't the tilt function buttons working on my Arjo Medical Equipment hand control?
    • B
      Billy JohnsonSep 6, 2025
If the tilt function buttons on your Arjo Medical Equipment hand control aren't working, verify that the Maxi Sky 2 Plus is in Dual Mode. The maximum allowed height difference between spreader bars may have been reached, causing the sit or recline function to stop. The software may have calculated a weight transfer shift between the ceiling lifts, causing one to become overloaded and stopping the motion. This is a normal safety feature, indicated by the "Overweight" icon on the display. With only the spreader bar connected to the Maxi Sky 2 Plus (no patient) in Dual Mode, press the UP button to raise the spreader bar to its highest position. This will reset the height difference calculation.

What does it mean when the symbol is flashing on my Arjo Maxi Sky 2 PLUS display?
    • J
      Jessica KnightSep 4, 2025
If the symbol is flashing on the display of your Arjo Medical Equipment, it indicates that a motor duty cycle has been reached. The function that exceeded the duty cycle is disabled, but all other functions remain active. Lower the patient and wait until the symbol disappears before attempting another transfer.

What to do if the UP button on the Arjo Maxi Sky 2 PLUS Medical Equipment hand control doesn't work?
    • D
      Daniel KellerAug 28, 2025
If the UP button on your Arjo Medical Equipment hand control isn't working, check that the straps are completely wound inside the ceiling lifts, as the upwards motion may have reached its highest point. Ensure the straps aren't twisted, which could activate the "end of stroke" limiter. If the display shows a malfunction code, contact your local Arjo agent. Verify the Maxi Sky 2 Plus is in "Dual Mode". Check if the auxiliary UP button on the ceiling lift (near the display) works; if it does, the hand control may be the issue. Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control replaced.

What to do if the DOWN button on the Arjo Maxi Sky 2 PLUS Medical Equipment hand control doesn't work?
    • W
      websterkevinAug 27, 2025
If the DOWN button on your Arjo Medical Equipment hand control isn't working, check if the strap is completely unwound from the ceiling lift. If so, the downwards motion has reached its lowest point. Ensure there is more than 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) suspended from the lifting strap, as the ceiling lift requires minimum tension to operate. Verify if the Maxi Sky 2 Plus is in Dual Mode. If the unit display shows a malfunction code, contact your local Arjo agent. Check if the auxiliary DOWN button on the ceiling lift (near the display) works; if it does, the hand control may be faulty. Contact your local Arjo agent to have the hand control replaced.

Why do the batteries of my Arjo Maxi Sky 2 PLUS Medical Equipment discharge quickly?
    • P
      Paula AguirreAug 25, 2025
If the batteries of your Arjo Medical Equipment are always discharged after a few transfers, place the Maxi Sky 2 Plus under the charging station for a complete charging cycle of 8 hours. If the ceiling lift does not detect the charging station, contact your Arjo agent for maintenance.

What to do if the Arjo Maxi Sky 2 PLUS Medical Equipment ceiling lift does not work with the hand control?
    • S
      Stacey OchoaAug 22, 2025
If the Arjo Medical Equipment ceiling lift isn't responding to the hand control, ensure that the ‘Power On’ switches on both ceiling lifts are pushed upward. Check if the auxiliary UP/DOWN buttons on the ceiling lifts (near the display) are working. If those work, the hand control might be the issue. Contact your local Arjo agent to replace the hand control.
