Trouble on One Voice Terminal
Step 8.
See if there are one or more terminal extension cords between the control
unit and the modular terminal cord of the voice terminal on which the
trouble appears.
Note:
A modular terminal cord, with a 451A Adapter connected to one
end, is the equivalent of a terminal extension cord in this step and
in the following steps.

Switch the terminal extension cord of the voice terminal on which the
trouble appears and the terminal extension cord of the voice terminal with
no trouble (see Figure 17). The terminal extension cord(s) may be con-
nected directly to the control unit or to a jack panel. The dotted line in
Figure 17 shows the terminal extension cord(s) connected directly to the
control unit.
