If your extra alert requires a separate 117-volt ac power supply, check that
power is being supplied from the ac outlet. Use a lamp, radio, or similar
device to check the ac outlet. Be sure to use an ac outlet providing 117-
volt ac power, if it is required. Using a voice terminal, dial an outside call
to your other line.
