Step 7.
Unplug one malfunctioning extra-alert device from the ac power outlet, if
required.
Step 8.
At the malfunctioning extra-alert device, disconnect the modular line cord
coming from the Type III Cartridge.
Step 9.
Connect the substitute extra-alert device to the modular line cord coming
from the Type III Cartridge.
