Example(s) and comments
?
Display all the programmable parameters and
their value.
AF+=fff.f
AF-=fff.f
where fff.f is a frequency
between 87,6 and 107,9
The command AF+= adds the frequency given
as a parameter to the list of alternative
frequencies (AF list).
The command AF-= erases the frequency
given as a parameter from the alternative
frequency list (AF list).
For more information on how receivers use the
AF list, refer to the relevant paragraph.
ASCII mode : the AF list can be
reread with the command AF?
The list is transmitted at the rate
of approximately 6 frequencies
per second.
AF+100.7 no “:” missing
AF+=100.7 yes
AF+=100 no, the decimal must
be specified
AF+=100.0 yes
AF+=096.8 no, no need for 0 at
front of frequencies less than 100
MHz.
AF+=96.8 yes
AF+=108.0 no, the frequency
108,0 is not in the authorised
range.
AF+=87.5 as above
AF+=99.05 no, the frequency
must be entered in steps of 0.1
MHz.
ATT = v
v from
0 to 70
This command only has effect when
"LEVEL0".
This command defines the relative attenuation
of the RDS signal in relation to it’s 0dBm
'nominal' value
= 2,19Vcc = 0,775Vrms.
The values 41 to 70 dB are reserved for test
and their use is not recommended : a
transmission installation must not use such low
levels.
NOTE : the dB scale is made up of
relatively large steps. To obtain finer steps,
use the command "LEVEL", to define the RDS
signal output level on a linear scale.

ASCII Mode : the ATT parameter
can be reread with the command
ATT?
ATT=0 : yes, the signal level is
2,19Vcc.
ATT=20 : yes, the signal level is
0,220Vcc.
ATT=-23 : no, no "-" sign required
!.
