iD48 Syncing to an External Device via ADAT or S/PDIF
In this setup, the external device would be acting as the master clock. The external device’s
Optical Output is connected to iD48’s Optical 1 Input.
The iD48’s Clock Source is set to ‘Digital 1’ or ‘Digital 2’, depending on which optical port you
are using. This allows the iD48 to sync to the incoming ADAT stream from the external device.
