Limit switch checking
1. Manually operate actuator into both valve end positions.
ð The limit switches are set correctly if:
ð LSC switch trips in end position CLOSED
ð LSO switch trips in end position OPEN
ð The switches release the contacts after turning back the handwheel
2. If the end position setting is incorrect: Reset limit switches.

Set mechanical position indicator
ü If options like (e.g. potentiometer, position transmitter) are available: Only adjust
mechanical position indicator once all optional actuator equipment has been set.
1. Fit indicator disc onto shaft.
2. Move valve to end position CLOSED.
3. Turn lower indicator disc until symbol
(CLOSED) is in alignment with the mark
on the cover.

4. Move actuator to end position OPEN.
5. Hold lower indicator disc in position and turn upper disc with symbol
(OPEN)
until it is in alignment with the mark
on the cover.

6. Move valve to end position CLOSED again.
7. Check settings: If the symbol
(CLOSED) is no longer in alignment with the mark
on the cover: Repeat setting procedure.
