If the module is already pre-configured, press as in Figure 5.3.ii. The left hand
side of the screen displays the Device Information including hardware and software version. If the
module needs to be configured, mark the tick boxes for Battery Backup, Standalone and External
Triggering as required. External Triggered is used for when there is an external switch for the timed
bottom blowdown trigger. The Valve Park Angle is recommended to be set 35 degrees from the closed
position. Once set, press .
The Servo Control tab on the right hand side of the screen in Figure 5.3.ii is used to set the closed and
open positions. Similar to the M.M. commissioning for the bottom blowdown module the valve can be
driven continuously to the closed or open positions, or nudged in small movements. Press and hold
to drive the valve to the closed positions. As with the M.M. once the open and closed
positions have been set, these must be tested individually by pressing , and
. If the battery back-up has been enabled, use the to check the battery voltage
(see section 5.2.3. for further information). To check the battery option, drive the valve to the closed
position, and then press . The valve will be opened to parked position mains power, and
then driven to fully closed on battery power.
